Bottom line, my overall impression is that everything here is designed to the extreme to extract as much money as possible from you while you are there. The slots in the casino were also very stingy with few even small payouts. Do you really need to charge $11 and up for a glass of beer, or extra for bacon when the eggs, potatoes, and toast are $12? Wine by the glass was $7, but you only got a few ounces. However, everything is tremendously overpriced. First of all, the food was good and the staff was great, especially at Mickey Mantle's. Restaurants: we ate at Vino's, Terrace View Cafe, Mickey Mantle's, and Winning Picks.
Seems like every effort was made not to spend an extra nickle on construction.
Soft water makes for a slick floor, not a good combination.
As seems to be typical now, no vent in the bathroom, a single sink, and the shower with no door requires you to walk back to the shower-head with no assist grab bar on the shower wall. Even though Thursday night was reasonably priced, with Friday and taxes/fees the total was right at $600 for the two nights for a standard king room. 3rd so decided to spend a couple of nights.
